Hamdan Asks Is Introduction Of Bullet Train Wise Move?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a deal with Japan for introduction of bullet train in India. But not every one is satisfied with the introduction  of these trains. Like anchor Vinod Dua said in his show that "it's too early in India to introduce bullet trains..."

I support PM Modi''s action. It is better now than never.

The Bullet train idea of PM Modi is absolutely beneficial in terms of the growth of Indian Railways. There is huge advantage to have trains which travel at extreme speed. This will affect the popularity of India in this field. This will increase the tourism opportunities in India. It''s not early to launch the bullet train in fast-developing country

I too support PM''s decision. People like Mr. Viond Dua must understand that this is one of the ways that can help India in presenting itself as a developed country towards the world soon in future. There''s nothing like early in this, the best time for an action is when you have a power and Modi had it now. PM''s action must be respected and his intentions must be took positively by opposition too.

I don''t completely stand against it, I neither support it. Even I think this is too early. Not all people will be able to afford. Before bringing it he would have used this money for bringing back good condition of tracks and trains. However, people will be happy with this soon!

as being a citizen of India I do feel that India has bullet train but Why will people prefer bullet trains if airways are doing the same job in less money and less time (as estimated).India is unable to maintain its basic train service and the Indian railways are in loss so is there is no guarantee that future of bullet train is secure and this project will not be shut down.we cant say if bullet train will be successful in India or not

Bharti Sharma Shri Shikshayatan School

If the condition of Indian Railways was not as it is now,I would have supported it with all my honesty. But I don''t believe there was any need to invest money in such an expensive project when the normal railways need more attention and development.

Ronit.R National Hill View Public School

I think these Bullet trains are not feasible and also these bullet trains shall face stiff competition from the booming aviation sector of India .Also this project is not cost effective .Instead efforts should be made to improve the ailing standards of the India railway.

when most of the world follows it why should we be left out and it is important for a country to have multiple ways of commute. thus I feel it is positive

It''s not inappropriate to launch the bullet train system in India but before implementing such a big task one must make sure that proper planning and assistance need to be taken in this program. According to me India''s topography, availability of land can become an obstacle for the task. Other than this, introduction of bullet train will not be accessible to most of the Indians as a ticket cost Rs.6,000. The present aim of the Government should be improving the current situation of railways.

Just 30 years ago when the Rajdhani Express was launched people critised the government run by Hon. Indira Gandhi . The opposition asked the government to divert those funds for improvement of existing railway networks . If Rajdhani would not had been there I don''t think India would stand in the world as it is now. Bullet train although requires a lot of money ,the money would be easily earned back in a matter of months through the fares and the development it gives to the areas near it
