Feel strongly about what’s happening around, voice it here

There is a fear that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will lead to loss of jobs in the near future. What is your take on the issue?

  • I believe that the fear over Artificial Intelligence is justified because it allows machines to think on their own, just like humans. If allowed to progress without limits, robots and other machines will soon replace us in sectors like manufacturing, transportation, medicine etc, leading to unemployment for us.

  • I think such problems have already begun in some areas requiring specialisation. So, no matter how efficient AI gets, without human instinct and emotions, no work can be done in the way we would do them. We strive for work done by hand, therefore AI’s affect will be limited in the near future.

  • Artificial Intelligence may take away the jobs of the people and the rich-poor gap will widen. Company owners will have to pay less to humans, thus shoring up their profits. It means that humans will be left to starve. The poverty of the masses will only increase and genius minds capable of doing the impossible will ultimately perish due to lack of opportunities.

RIA BHAT VIKAS THE CONCEPT SCHOOL

For every team that isn''t performing well what they need desperately is a good finisher.Team India is lucky enough to have one.I think the way Dhoni plays when the team is under pressure ,is exceptionally miraculous. So far in the history of cricket,Dhoni is the one of the coolest and smartest player. He knows the tricks of playing while in pressure very well. When a team is losing wickets, it becomes difficult to chase the target, the players become tempted but this isn''the the case with MS.

AI being growing fast is also increasing the threat for people. We don''t want AI for every work so it is not dependent for all jobs.It also decreases the human development, knowledge and opportunities. So India should not support AI for a larger scale.

ROHIT CHAUHAN ,Greenfields public school , dilshad garden. Yes,it is true as MS.Dhoni is one of the most brilliant and experienced cricketer to have set foot on the field. Team India is lucky to have one. He also plays with cool mind under no pressure which helps in benefiting team India.

yes, Dhoni is obviously an ultimate finisher of a game .If we take a look at past that had many great finishes like the one in 2011 world cup final . Dhoni is a hope to Indian team when the required runs are more and balls are left . When it comes to his replacement according to my opinion no one would be fit to take his place in Indian team. I guess this hitter shouldn''t leave the Indian cricket team.this man India''s one of the key to success in cricket

I feel that AI though will take away jobs in the informal sector it will create more jobs in other sectors of expertise including creating these robots and their parts .
