Can Games Train You To Eat Right?

Scientists have devised a brain training computer game that may help children choose healthy snacks over chocolates and sweets. Your take?

We eat what we want and do what we like. Brain training games cannot define our choices in any aspect of life, forget food! Why should we be stopped from having chocolates (in a small quantity) when it is known to be a great mood booster? This may be applicable for small kids, definitely not for teens and youngsters.

There’s been an increase in the consumption of junk food all over the world, especially among youngsters. The  future generation may not be as healthy as the previous ones due to excessive consumption of junk food. With the popularity of such gadgets, I am sure this game could help prevent obesity.

Children need some kind of brain training. But a child should not be trained in this way to hate chocolates. If this happens the child may start believing that chocolates are bad, so he/she will miss out many delicious food products.

Programmers and Hackers can go to any extent, so yes brain training games can definitely change our food in the same way as watching 15min of TV reduces our creativity. It can be achieved by a student also by making games that can be understood by a child of not more than 5 years.

This is not something to be accepted. If even our food methods are being trained, then people still become dependent. They should control themselves from bad foods. But not all chocolates are bad. I don''t accept it.

Yes ,this is absolutely right because when children play or do some physical activity they eat proper food or a balanced diet , drink adequate amount of water which helps them grow makes their body stiff ,strong .So playing sports gives us not only good health and stamina but also protects us from diseases.

I agree that "nothing in the world can change you if you are not willing to change". I don''t feel that games will bring a change for the good in the bad food habits of the children.

I completely agree with Himanshi. You need to tell your inner self that you are willing to change something then it will happen. Even if you try hard and work with a lot of dedication, no one can stop you from changing something about yourself.
