What Yuvi Said On Comeback

It Takes A Lot Of Effort To Tide Through Tough Times And Make It Back To The ODI Squad After Three Years
Yuvraj Singh has been away from international cricket for a long time. This was the result of a policy undertaken by Dhoni who wanted to develop younger players for the future and now that Kohli is at the helm of affairs, those policies are bound to change. Yuvraj, if he plays in the first ODI against England, will make a comeback after three years in ODIs and it will be a big achievement for him considering the declining shelf life of players today. No matter what people say, Yuvraj has still some cricket left in him but nobody knows for sure till when he will continue, not even Yuvraj himself.

And All It Takes Is One Game To Get Back Into The Groove
He is fluent when he gets his groove back and there’s no doubt that on his day he can run through the opposition without much effort. What a guy like Yuvraj needs is a good game, and that is wherein the actual problem lies. That one game could be the first of a series or none of many.

Mental Toughness Is A Part Of Being Fit And He Might Be Able To Offset His Physical Liabilities
The Yuvraj of ago was a firepower at point. Now, he’s just a caricature of his former self and that is a big liability in the shorter formats where speed and agility is everything. That he is determined to do well for team India is some consolation but the fast games could prove to be his undoing in the near future.

MS Dhoni Is Arguably The Greatest Indian Captain But Yuvraj Is Never Going To Say That On Camera
Yuvraj goes on to say that under Dhoni, Team India has achieved everything but just stops short of calling him the best Indian captain to ever take the field. Everyone knows that there are some unresolved issues between both of them and it’ll be interesting to see how they react to Kohli’s command in the upcoming series against England.
