7 Actions That Influence Life

If it feels wrong, don’t do it

Your best friend, the conscious mind, that is with you always as a guide keeps suggestingyou to do things the right way. However, for example we may lie rather than getting shouted at if we commit a mistake. We may have escaped at that moment but we mayhave to always put extra effort to remember the lie. Rather we should not lie if we feelits wrong.

Say exactly what you mean

We all love to speak, don’t we? Everyone has the freedom to speak or say whateverthey want to express but in today’s world where everything is so uncertain includingpeople’s moods, we have to be careful in saying only the right things that can eithermotivate or not offend. After all tongue has no bones but it can certainly break hearts

Don’t be a People Pleaser

If someone asked you, do you love giving happiness? I am sure everyone would answerin positive. Now giving happiness and being a people pleaser are 2 different things. Happiness can be given by keeping our core values in place but while pleasing peoplewe tend to sometimes give up on our core values and try to impress others so that we can get something in return, whether emotionally or physically. However it hurts when all we get is disappointment so be an original, not a people pleaser.

Trust your instincts

Trusting your instincts in many situations is usually the right decision. There’s an old saying in golf that you have studied the swing many times and you keep practicing but when you stand over the ball, you just have to trust your swing. In the same wayyou may have done many things or had many experiences but in some cases you justhave to trust your gut, whether with people or situations.

Never speak bad about yourself

Who is our biggest critic? Us. Have you ever faced failure in life or in an interview. I amsure many of us have faced it. Now imagine you have been dreaming of getting a goodjob and you have an interview. What do you feel? Do you say to yourself that “It’s my day” or “I will get this job” or do you say “What if I fail even in this interview”. Why cant be thinkor speak good about ourselves like “I deserve the best in life”. You have to practice this art.

Never give up on your dreams

Each one of us has a dream. A dream to become something in life, a dream to giveall the comforts to our loved ones, a dream to live happily. Do you think its possible? Its tough sometimes if you cant find inspiration from people around. The second bestoption that has been considered for inspiration is books. Especially biographies of peoplewho have been there and done that. Be inspired and keep moving towards your dreams.

Be kind to yourself

Being kind to yourself ? Nice words but what does it exactly mean? When we are kind toothers, we tend to do things like helping someone, appreciating someone, gifting someone something they may need, listening to them, cheering them up. This is exactly what we should do with ourselves. We should appreciate ourselves for playing multiple roles.
