Asus ROG GL552VW

Priced at Rs 82,490, the device packs 15.6-inch full HD/UHD display, Intel Skylake i7 processor, 16GB of DDR4 SDRAM, which can go up to 32GB, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M, and the same inbuilt storage options as the ROG G752.

The company has also bundled some software with the device.


Dell Inspiron 15 7000

Dell’s new Inspiron 15 7000 series of laptops are one of the few powerful laptops that would not disappoint a gamer.

The laptop is available both in touch and non-touch screen options, runs on Intel Skylake processor (Core i5, i7), packs up to 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M GPU, 128GB SSD along with 1TB of hard drive.

It costs around Rs 1,15,000.


Dell Alienware 15


Dell’s Inspiron 15 7000 series laptops are not the only powerful laptops coming from the company.

Alienware 15 is another heavy-duty device that can handle massive graphic-intensive video games. The laptop runs on Windows 10, 16GB RAM, Intel Core SKylake processor, 1TB hard drive.

It has more number of ports and a better camera as well. The laptop costs around Rs 1,57,000.

Acer Predator G9-792

Acer too has been nailing it in the gaming laptop market. One of the company’s powerful manchines is the Acer Predator G9-792 priced around Rs 1,77,000.

The laptop sports a massive 17-inch display, Intel Core i7 Skylake processor, up to 64GB RAM, 128GB SSD with 1TB hard drive, Windows 10, Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M GPU. One of the highlights of the laptop is the massive exhaust opening up behind the display.

Lenovo Ideapad Y700


The Ideapad Y700 is Lenovo’s offering for gamers. The laptop is the cheapest in the list, as it starts at Rs 91,990, with a higher model priced at Rs 99,990.

Although it is not as powerful as the Alienwares and ROGs, but can handle almost anything without any glitches as it packs Intel Skylake i7 processor, 16GB/8GB RAM, 15.6-inch full-HD display, Windows 10 OS, Nvidia GeForce 960M GPU, and 1TB storage (5400 RPM).

HP Envy Notebook 17


Recently-launched HP’s Envy Notebook 17 is another laptop like the Inspiron 15 7000 that is not specifically made for gaming, but can play some heavy video games smoothly.

It features a 17.3-inch full HD touchscreen display, Intel SKylake i7 processor, 16GB DDR3L SDRAM, 2TB HDD (5400 RPM), NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M GPU, and Bang & Olufsen speakers.

The laptop is sleeker than typical gaming laptops and costs Rs 1,18,190.
