Featuring Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, this cult book was first published in 1934 and follows the story of Hercule who is caught up with solving a murder committed on the train he is travelling in. One passenger lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the inside.

Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver

Before I Fall follows the story of 17-year-old Samantha Kingston who is killed in a car accident. She clearly remembers dying however the following day, she wakes up in bed, alive once again. For some strange reason she is fated to relive that day, over and over again, until she sets things right. The movie is set to premier at the Sundance Film Festival this month before its theatre releases.

The Zookeeper's Wife by Diane Ackerman

This non-fictional book based on the unpublished diary of Antonina Żabińska, is the story of Antonina and her husband, both zookeepers who save the lives of 300 Jews who were imprisoned during Germany's invasion of Poland.

The Circle by David Eggers

Mae Holland, a recent college graduate lands a job at The Circle, which is a powerful tech company run by the so-called "Three Wise Men". Mae starts out small but she quickly climbs the corporate ladder. The movie stars Emma Watson and Tom Hanks.

Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle

The compilation novel consist of three separate stories - The Jubilee Express by Maureen Johnson, A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle by John Green and The Patron Saint of Pigs by Lauren Myracle - follows the story of three teenagers as they experience a huge snow storm in town during Christmas Eve.
