5 Best Designed Cafes In The World

Move Over The Usual Themed Cafes, How About Enjoying Your Cuppa At A Cafe That Has A History, Or Beautiful Art Works, Or Just Designed Out Of The Box...

1- Bar Topolski, London

A cafe-bar-gallery located in Hungerford Arches near London's Waterloo railway station; it pays homage to Polish-born artist and illustrator Feliks Topolski. It is said that the arch at the railway station was painted and exhibited by Topolski. This cafe-bar features Topolski's interesting art works. Imagine sipping on to your favorite cuppa and gazing at some amazing art history.

2- Cafe Ki, Japan

In Japanese, Ki means a tree. The name sounds perfect for this cafe which minimalist and monochrome in nature. Located in tokyo, the cafe comprises coffee-foloured wooden poles along with steel 'trees' that form the the legs of the tables along with branches that can be used for hanging coats and bags. With such minimal features, the cafe infuses a sense of calm and is the perfect alternative to the fast-paced modern lifestyle. You can just disappear in the white furniture that camouflages itself with the white walls and floors.

3- Dreamy Camera Cafe, South Korea

The cafe has been designed exclusively by a South Korean couple who love vintage cameras.  It is definitely not your average cafes but rather a place for dreamers and creators who can talk about their ideas, have an instant photo taken and record memories for all to enjoy. Basically, it gives you a chance to savour more than a cup of coffee!

4- Mirrors, Japan

Imagine sitting in a cafe that features wall-length mirrors on the outside that reflect the Cherry Blossom trees on the opposite. Serene and divine, isn't it? Aptly named Mirrors, the coffee house is located along one of Japan's tourist routes in Gifu. To let the customers enjoy the cafe's beauty throughout the year, there are Camellia trees planted inside the cafe, which bloom vivid red flowers during the months of winter and spring.

5- Jury, Australia

A cafe whose history relates to a prison. Located in Coburg, the 475sq/m cafe stands within the perimeter walls of the former Pentridge Prison. Imagine enjoying a cup of coffee in a former prison, surrounded by a modern and fresh, yet authentic decor.
